Tools > Settings > Security > Phone and SIM > Auto lock period > User defined >Set delay time > enter Lock code. (The default Lock code is 12345) > ok

Q. How do I activate or deactivate the operator logo on my Nokia phone ?

Ans- AMT : This is a network service. If supported by your service provider, you can choose whether the display shows the operator logo when the phone is in standby mode.

1. Select Menu > Settings > Display settings > Operator logo
2. Select "on" to show the logo or "off" to hide the logo..

Q. I’m currently using a Motorola Razr and coming to the end of a Telstra contract. I want to buy a Sony Ericsson w890i and am thinking about buying the phone outright then going to a Think Mobile plan. Can I just swap my Telstra sim into the Sony and keep using it till my contract with Telstra is up in August or do I have to wait ?

Ans- AMT : Normally, if you purchase a phone “outright”, it should not be SIM locked. That means you can definitely use your Telstra SIM card or any SIM cards on the “outright” phone. Regards, AMT

Q. I went to the support section on the Nokia website but could not seem to get past the PC Suite introduction screen. It contains information on the PC Suite, however I was unable to download the PC Suite application. What am I doing wrong ?

Ans- AMT : It seems that your browser is lacking a certain component in order to proceed with the download. Your internet browser should have Macro Media Flash Plug-in installed to enable you to view the download wizard on the page. In some PC setups and depending on connection speeds, it may take a while for the Flash module to load. Kindly wait for it to load. The download will proceed shortly after that. Otherwise you may try to download and install the Flash plug-in first before proceeding.

Q. My Pearl is missing the inner ring to hold the trackball in place, so it moves around a lot. Is there a way to just buy that piece?  If not, does the trackball assembly ?

Ans- AMT : The Trackball Assembly comes with the trackball and the Silver top ring that fits above it.  This is not sold separately.  Now if you are missing the plastic black piece that the trackball sits into, that is part of the faceplate itself.

Q. Hi, I have just purchased a used sony w600 and I have been charging it for a day and the screen turns white I have also tried charging it with a usb cable and the same ,, can u help ,, thanksss ?

Q. My daughter dropped her Nokia 6120 in the toilet. I've pulled it apart, dried it but it is no longer working. I've tried using another battery and sim card in it but it doesn't even turns on. Can you help. What measures should have been taken in the mentioned case?

Ans- AMT : Usually if handset was on at time of coming into contact with water it will no longer work, if handset was off removal of covers and allowing it to dry may bring it back. If possible in both instances get it to a repair centre which has accessibility to an ultrasonic bath as this is first step to trying to recover handset.
